UAE Weather: Temperatures Ease Slightly as Fog Risk Returns Overnight

The UAE weather is expected to remain hot on Sunday, although temperatures may fall slightly in some parts of the country. The National Center of Meteorology said skies will be fair to partly cloudy, with clouds forming over eastern areas and a chance of fog or mist overnight.

In some coastal and interior areas, humidity will rise overnight and remain high until Monday morning. Increased moisture levels may decrease vision in some areas and cause fog or mist.

Despite the minor dip in temperatures, they will remain hot. Liwa is forecast to have the greatest temperature of 47°C, while Al Ain may reach 45°C.

The temperatures in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman are expected to reach 43°C. Dubai could reach 42°C, while Fujairah will be about 35°C.

In addition, humidity is likely to stay high in numerous places. It could reach 90% in Abu Dhabi and approximately 85% in Dubai, Fujairah, Liwa, and certain western and island regions.

Winds will be low to moderate, heading southeast to northeast. Speeds are forecast to range between 10 and 25 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching 40 km/h.

Sea conditions are expected to stay slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

On Monday, there is little change predicted. Fair to partly overcast conditions will prevail across the country, with clouds continuing to form in the east.

Humidity will climb again overnight and into Tuesday morning in some coastal and interior areas. This may result in additional fog or mist. At times, winds can gust up to 35 km/h.

More adjustments are likely on Tuesday. Clouds are expected to form over eastern and southern UAE, potentially becoming convective.

Humid conditions will persist tonight, with fog or mist expected in some coastal and interior areas by Wednesday morning. Winds are forecast to shift from southeast to northwest, reaching 35 km/h.

Weather Conditions Expected on Wednesday

Wednesday in the UAE is expected to be fair to partly cloudy. During the afternoon, clouds may form in the east and south.

Winds will change from southwest to northwest, with gusts reaching 30 km/h. Despite variations in cloud activity and wind direction, the sea in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman is forecast to stay quite calm.

Overall, temperatures will remain high throughout the time, although increased humidity may cause fog or mist in certain regions overnight and early in the morning.
