Gujarat Cop Quits Police Job : A serving Gujarat Police constable has resigned, citing current political developments and protests in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar as reasons for leaving government service. The constable stated that he now intends to devote himself to social and political action in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Ramgar Mohangar Gosai was assigned to Adesar Police Station in East Kutch, Gandhidham. He announced his decision in a self-recorded video statement, explaining why he was leaving a government job he had worked hard for.

The development comes after protests at Jantar Mantar that, according to Gosai, played an important role in shaping his decision. He said he believed decisions taken by the Prime Minister following the demonstrations were favourable to young people.

Gosai stated that getting his police position needed a tremendous amount of hard work and perseverance. Despite this, he resigned, citing a higher sense of obligation to work outside of government.

He also stated that he intends to devote his future efforts to the RSS, describing the organization as committed to national service.
