UAE Weather Forecast: Temperatures to Reach 46°C as Fog Risk Rises

The UAE weather forecast for Wednesday points to hot conditions, with temperatures expected to climb as high as 46°C in some parts of the country. Humidity will also increase overnight, creating a chance of fog or mist in some coastal and inland areas through Thursday morning, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Most of the UAE will experience relatively pleasant weather. Some cloud cover is anticipated to form over eastern areas, while greater humidity may reduce visibility in select areas during the early hours.

The warmest temperatures are forecast in inland areas, where they will range from 25°C to 46°C. Coastal areas and islands will experience temperatures ranging from 27°C to 43°C.

Mountain areas will be relatively colder, with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 35°C. Humidity will be especially noticeable along the coast and islands, where relative humidity may reach up to 95%.

High humidity and moderate temperatures may cause fog or mist to form overnight and Thursday morning. Motorists in affected locations may need to anticipate limited visibility.

Winds will be light to moderate throughout the country. They are forecast to blow at speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kph, with possible gusts up to 30 kph.

Sea conditions will stay slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

UAE Weather Forecast: Conditions Through the Weekend

Similar weather patterns are predicted to persist in the following days. Thursday is expected to be fair to partly overcast, particularly in the eastern region of the country.

Humidity will rise again overnight, and fog or mist may form in some regions. The NCM has also expected fog or mist on Friday morning.

Clouds are likely to become increasingly visible throughout the East Coast from Friday to Sunday. The eastern regions of the UAE may so experience periods of low cloud cover over the weekend.

According to the NCM, the weather in the country will continue to be influenced by the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east and a high-pressure system from the west. An upper-air high-pressure system will also have an impact on the weather.

For the time being, the primary weather elements forecast in the UAE are high daytime temperatures, increasing humidity, and the possibility of fog or mist overnight and early morning.
