UP TET Result 2026 Released: Check Scorecard and Qualifying Marks

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has issued the UP TET Result 2026 on August 26. Candidates who took the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test can now see their results on the official UPESSC website.

The UPTET 2026 examination was administered throughout Uttar Pradesh from July 2 to July 4. The exam consisted of two papers: Paper 1 for candidates seeking eligibility to teach Classes 1 through 5, and Paper 2 for those applying to teach Classes 6 through 8.

UP TET Result 2026: How to Check Your Scorecard

Candidates can download their results in a few simple steps. To access the scorecard, they will need to provide their registration number and password.

Go to the official UPESSC website.
Open the Candidate Services or Latest Updates section.
Look for the UPTET Result 2026 link.
Enter your registration number and password.
Submit the details.
Your result will appear on the screen.
Check your marks and qualifying status.
Download the scorecard and keep it safely.
Take a printout for future use.

UPTET 2026 Qualifying Marks

The qualifying marks differ based on the candidate’s category. Candidates in the general category had to score at least 90 out of 150 points, or 60 percent.

Candidates from Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Economically Weaker Section categories needed 82 out of 150, or 55 percent, to qualify.

According to the reported results, over 5.71 lakh students qualified for the primary level, with approximately 7.59 lakh individuals qualifying for the upper primary level.
