UAE Weather: Sunny Conditions and 46°C Temperatures Across the Country

UAE Weather : Residents across the UAE are bracing for another scorching day of summer, with temperatures anticipated to reach up to 46°C in inland parts before cooling and dustier conditions arrive during the weekend. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), Friday’s weather will be largely clear, but shifting wind patterns may cause reduced visibility and hazardous sea conditions in some areas.

Temperatures in coastal and island locations are expected to range between 36°C and 42°C, while highs in hilly regions may be 27°C to 32°C. As heat temperatures soar over parts of the country, authorities warn residents to avoid long periods of outdoor exposure during peak afternoon hours.

Forecasters also predicted that northwesterly and southwesterly winds will progressively develop over the weekend, bringing dust and sand into numerous areas of the UAE. Wind speeds might reach 40 km/h in open regions, particularly in the Arabian Gulf, where sea conditions are likely to grow choppy by late night.

UAE Weather, Heatwave Conditions Raise Public Concerns

The latest weather update comes as the UAE continues to experience early summer conditions, including extended dry spells and rising humidity levels. According to weather experts, such temperature rises are usual in late May, but the intensity of the heat frequently affects outdoor workers, travelers, and those working in construction and delivery services.

Meteorologists explained that inland desert locations typically have the greatest temperatures due to low moisture levels and direct sun exposure. Meanwhile, coastal cities endure higher humidity, making outdoor temperatures feel even hotter in the evenings.

The NCM predicts that humid weather will develop overnight and into Monday morning in internal and coastal regions, with the possibility of mist formation in western parts. Drivers are encouraged to use caution during early morning travel as visibility may be reduced in some areas.

Health professionals in the UAE continue to warn citizens about the dangers of dehydration and heat fatigue. People are recommended to consume more water, dress lightly, and avoid vigorous physical activity during high heat periods.

Cooler Spell, Dusty Winds Expected Across UAE This Weekend

Despite the present warmth, analysts predict a modest dip in temperatures starting Saturday when dusty winds sweep across the country. The adjustment is expected to bring brief reprieve from the intense daytime heat, but blowing sand may reduce visibility on highways and open roadways.

The weather shift is also predicted to have an influence on maritime conditions, with rougher waters in portions of the Arabian Gulf before gradually improving early next week. However, the Oman Sea is expected to remain mild to moderate during the most of the weather change.

Climate specialists claim the UAE’s desert climate causes fast weather swings throughout seasonal transitions. Rising temperatures, dust activity, and humidity are all usual as the region approaches its peak summer months of June and July.

Authorities continue to closely monitor weather developments and plan to issue additional advisories if conditions worsen throughout the weekend.
