Minneapolis shooting leaves two dead, several injured including police officers

A Minneapolis shooting at a high-rise building in downtown Minneapolis left at least two people dead and several others injured on Wednesday, according to officials. Three police officers were among those hurt, while the suspected shooter was also found dead.

According to the city’s official narrative, police arrived at the building around three minutes after receiving 911 calls. Officers reported hearing gunfire on a higher floor and discovering haze within the structure, making it impossible to see.

According to officials, the injured officers are likely to recover.

After the shooting, seven persons were transferred to Hennepin Healthcare. One of them died later in the hospital, and another was pronounced dead on the scene.

These two individuals are included in the death toll. Officials also announced that the alleged shooter had died.
