UAE Aircraft Registry Crosses 1,000 Registered Aircraft for the First Time

The UAE Aircraft Registry has reached 1,000 registered aircraft for the first time, a significant achievement for the country’s aviation sector. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced that aircraft number 1001 has been officially added to the National Aircraft Registry. As a result, the registry has passed the 1,000-aircraft threshold for the first time.

According to officials, the achievement demonstrates the UAE’s civil aviation sector’s ongoing expansion and the growing confidence of airlines, aircraft owners, and operators in the country’s regulatory framework.

Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the GCAA, lauded the milestone as a significant accomplishment for the country’s aviation industry.

He stated that crossing the 1,000-plane mark illustrates the UAE’s civil aviation sector’s consistent expansion as well as the confidence that international airlines, aircraft owners, and operators have in the country’s aviation rules.
