Tel Aviv [Israel]: The Times of Israel reported on Wednesday that around a dozen US Air Force F-22 fighters had arrived in Israel. This comes amid heightened tensions between the US and Iran that might potentially erupt in a war, as well as a continued build-up of American military forces in West Asia.

The stealth fighters were seen taking off from the Lakenheath airport in the United Kingdom on February 24 morning before they headed to Israel, according to the Israeli newspaper, using open-source flight monitoring data and plane spotters.
According to American news agencies, a US official has verified that the fifth-generation aircraft landed at an Israeli air force installation in South Israel.
The aircraft flew with their transponders deactivated, but were accompanied by refuelling tankers with their transponders operational, according to ABC.
Negotiations between the United States and Iran over Tehran’s nuclear program are proceeding, with the two sides scheduled to meet in Geneva on Thursday for a third round of negotiations.

Israeli officials are claimed to feel that a US strike is unavoidable, and top military brass from both countries have apparently communicated. According to The Times of Israel, a diplomatic end to the issue would be the “surprise of the year,” according to one official interviewed by Channel 12 news on Tuesday.
The Military Air Tracking Alliance, a team of approximately 30 open-source analysts that constantly analyse military and government aircraft activity, has seen dozens of fighter jets going to the Middle East in recent days, including F-35s, F-22s, F-15s, and F-16s, according to the Israeli daily.

In his address to Congress on Tuesday night, US President Donald Trump stated that Iran is developing long-range missiles capable of reaching US territory.”They’ve already developed missiles capable of threatening Europe and our overseas bases, and they’re working to develop missiles capable of reaching the United States of America,” Trump stated during his first State of the Union speech of his second term.

He mentioned the “Operation Midnight Hammer,” which involved US bombings against Iran’s nuclear program during a 12-day war between Israel and Iran.TRump stated that after being advised not to reconstitute their weapons program after Midnight Hammer, they continue to pursue their evil nuclear objectives.
The US President stated that Iran wishes to reach an agreement to avert further US strikes, but has yet to commit to never developing nuclear weapons.
