Refuting speculations of Imran Khan’s death, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Khurram Zeeshan claimed on Saturday that the former Prime Minister is still alive and being held in Adiala jail.
He further said that Khan is being held in isolation as a means of pressuring him to leave Pakistan.
Khurram Zeeshan, a member of Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), told ANI from Pakistan that the country’s regime is intimidated and scared of Imran Khan’s popularity, which is why no images or videos of him have been released.
Earlier this week, various Afghan social media handles stated that Imran Khan had been assassinated in Rawalpindi’s jail.

The rumours correlate with Pakistani officials’ refusal to allow Imran’s sisters to meet him for the previous month, despite court orders.
“It is quite unfortunate. It has been about a month since his isolation, and his family, attorneys, and even the senior leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have not been permitted to see him. This constitutes a complete breach of human rights. “It appears they are attempting to force him into something,” he told ANI.
Zeeshan stated Imran Khan still alive
Putting an end to the rumors, Zeeshan stated, “In the last few days, we have been given a guarantee, and we have been assured.” He is still alive and being held in Adiala prison. “He is fine.”
When asked what kind of agreement the Pakistan government is attempting to reach with Imran Khan, the Senator stated he has been urged to leave the country and be silent.
“They’re attempting to reach an agreement with Imran Khan, asking him to leave the country. They even give him concessions if he travels abroad and remains silent at a location of his choosing. However, Imran Khan will never consent to it. “The kind of leader he is, he will never approve it,” he said.

Despite his captivity, Khan’s power continues to increase. His party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has a solid foundation among Pakistan’s youth, and his ideology has already started to resonate across generations, according to Zeeshan.
“PTI has a great future. When such situations happen, people bring out their best qualities. Those who sincerely believe in these ideas are taking action,” he added.
When asked why no images of Imran Khan have been released since his arrest, Zeeshan stated that Pakistan’s ruling regime appeared to be under threat, afraid that even a single image may rally public support.
