Ladki Bahin Yojana : The Maharashtra government has made an important decision about the Ladki Bahin Yojana. This decision has brought gladness to the state’s women. The e-KYC deadline set by the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana has been extended. The administration had earlier set a November 18th deadline for completion. However, due to technical problems, over 11 million women were unable to finish their eKYC. The Maharashtra government has extended the deadline till December 31, 2025. As a result, women in the state will be able to finish their e-KYC by the end of the year.
The Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is operating successfully throughout the state under the direction of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, according to Aditi Tatkare, the state’s Women and Child Development Minister and MLA from the Shrivardhan constituency. Prior to November 18, 2025, all beneficiaries were required to finish e-KYC. This has now been extended to December 31, 2025.

I am aware that many qualified women have been unable to finish the e-KYC process for the “Chief Minister’s Ladki Behen Yojana” on time. Recognizing these issues, the state administration has made a crucial choice. The deadline for e-KYC under the Ladki Behen Yojana has been extended to December 31st.
Major Changes to the Ladki Behen Yojana
Women who have lost their husbands or fathers, or who are divorced, will be need to complete their own e-KYC under the new system. They must also submit a certified copy of their husband’s or father’s death certificate, divorce certificate, or court order to the Women and Child Development Officer in their area. According to the government, this action would ensure the scheme’s benefits remain consistent and stable.
How to Complete the eKYC for the Ladki Bahin Yojana
To complete e-KYC for the Mukhyamantri-Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, go to https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.
2. To access the e-KYC form, click the e-KYC banner on the homepage.
3. The beneficiary must fill out this form with their Aadhaar number and captcha code. They must agree to Aadhaar authentication and then click Send OTP. An OTP will be given to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Please enter this OTP and click Submit.
4. The system will then check if the beneficiary’s KYC has been completed.
5. If e-KYC is already finished, the message ‘e-KYC already completed’ will appear.
6. If not, it will check to see if the Aadhaar number is on the scheme’s eligibility list.
7. If the Aadhaar number appears on the eligible list, you can advance to the next step.
Who will profit from the Chief Minister’s Ladki Behen Yojana?
1. This scheme only applies to women aged 21 to 65.
2. To be eligible for this scheme, women must be Maharashtra residents.
3. To participate in this plan, applicants must apply online.
4. This scheme is open to all married, divorced, and unattached women.
5. To be eligible for this initiative, women must have a bank account. The woman’s family’s annual income shouldn’t exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
6. This scheme does not apply to women who are already receiving benefits from another government initiative.

This method requires an Aadhaar card, an identity card, a bank account, a caste certificate, a residence certificate, an age verification certificate, a ration card, a passport-sized photo, an income certificate, a birth certificate, and a voter ID.
These folks are not eligible to receive Ladki Behen Yojana benefits.
Families earning more than ₹2.5 lakh are not eligible to apply. Those in the family who pay income taxes are also ineligible. Those with a family member who works for the state or central government are likewise ineligible to apply. Families using four-wheeled vehicles other than tractors are likewise ineligible for this scheme.
