Trump Calls $50 Million Alina Habba Mildon Contract Unacceptable

Alina Habba Mildon Contract : US President Donald Trump has criticized a rumored $50 million contract with his former lawyer, Alina Habba Mildon, calling the arrangement disgusting. The arrangement reportedly guarantyd her more than $50 million over four years while she worked for the United States Department of Justice.

Trump made the remarks on Saturday while chatting with reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. He condemned the purported arrangement as outrageous and stated that he had informed Habba Mildon that he did not want her to accept the funds.

The arrangement has sparked interest due to its claimed date and ties to the family of Venezuelan banker Julio Herrera Velutini, who faced US felony bribery accusations until agreeing to a plea agreement in August 2025.

Trump Questions Alina Habba Mildon’s $50 Million Deal

When reporters inquired about the supposed agreement, Trump expressed strong dissatisfaction. He described the incident as awful and reiterated his dissatisfaction with the deal.

According to an article published by The New York Times last week, Herrera Velutini’s family guarantyd Habba Mildon more than $50 million over four years. The alleged conditions included annual payments of $10 million with bonuses.

According to the article, Habba Mildon signed the deal with Concord Partners, a corporation affiliated with Herrera’s family, while serving as the acting US attorney in New Jersey. The firm was apparently registered just days before the agreement was inked in late October 2025.

The time is an important aspect of the stated sequence of events. By the time Habba Mildon began working for the Herrera family, she had been banned by a court from acting as US attorney, according to the newspaper.

Habba Mildon resigned her job on December 8, 2025. On the same day, she was named a senior adviser to the attorney general, a position she apparently retained when she started working at Concord Partners on January 1.

The purported contract and her official positions have brought the arrangement to light, but the available material does not show that the payments were linked to a pardon.

Trump, Habba Mildon and Herrera Pardon Timeline

Herrera Velutini faced criminal bribery accusations in the United States before agreeing to a plea agreement in August 2025. According to the Justice Department’s website, Trump granted the Venezuelan financier a pardon on January 15, 2026.

Habba Mildon denied that she was compensated for a pardon. Last Monday, she stated that she had never received money for obtaining a pardon and had not met with anybody at the White House or the Justice Department to discuss one.

She also stated that she had done no work to get a pardon for anyone. Her remarks specifically addressed the potential of a relationship between her stated work situation and the presidential pardon.

Trump’s criticism came after the contract’s alleged financial provisions became public. He stated that he had informed Habba Mildon that he did not want her to be paid, but the information presented does not indicate if the deal was canceled or any money was exchanged.

The Justice Department did not immediately reply to a request for comment on the case.

The alleged contract, Habba Mildon’s answer, and the January pardon all occurred at different points in time. While Trump has publicly decried the deal, the current information does not indicate that the contract was in exchange for a pardon.
