UAE Weather Forecast: Temperatures Could Reach 47°C as Fog and Stronger Winds Expected

The UAE weather forecast points to another very hot day on Thursday, with temperatures expected to climb as high as 47°C in some inland areas. Humidity will also increase in coastal locations, bringing a chance of mist overnight and during the early hours of Friday.

Most of the country will experience fair to partly cloudy weather. Winds will be low to moderate for most of the day, although they may gust up to 35 km/h throughout coastal, inland, and mountainous locations.

UAE Weather Forecast Shows High Temperatures

The hottest temperatures are forecast farther from the coast. Temperatures in the inland might range from 43°C to 47°C, while coastal and island locations could have highs of 39°C to 44°C.

Temperatures in the mountains are expected to range from 30°C to 36°C. Despite the heat, the weather will be fair to partly overcast.

Both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are likely to have modest sea conditions.

Humidity will become more apparent overnight. Some coastal areas may experience mist or fog, especially in the early morning hours.

Fog Risk May Increase Over the Weekend

Friday’s weather is forecast to be largely clear to partly overcast. However, rising humidity may cause fog or mist in some coastal locations by Saturday morning. Winds may again gust up to 35 km/h.

Weather conditions may grow more volatile on Saturday afternoon. Convective clouds may build over eastern regions of the UAE, with winds gusting up to 40 kilometers per hour.

Fog or mist may also be present in certain coastal and inland areas on Sunday morning. Drivers in affected areas should exercise caution if visibility is reduced.

Sunday’s weather will be fair to partly cloudy. Clouds are likely to form over eastern areas, while humid conditions may result in fog or mist in coastal and interior areas by Monday morning.

UAE Weather Outlook for Monday and Tuesday

The unsettled pattern is forecast to persist throughout Monday, with clouds forming over eastern parts. Humidity may climb again overnight and remain until Tuesday morning in some coastal areas.

Winds could gust up to 35 km/h, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf could range from mild to moderate at times. The Oman Sea is forecast to stay mild.

Over the next few days, the primary weather features will be high daytime temperatures, rising humidity, intermittent fog or mist, and times of higher winds across the nation.
