Sanaa [Yemen] Yemen Issues Warning : The Houthis have warned that if the United States joins Israel in an attack against Iran, they will strike American ships and warships in the Red Sea.

Yahya Sarea, a spokesperson for the Houthi rebels in Yemen, made the comment, characterising the situation as a component of a larger plan to give Israel authority over the area.

“Because it views it as the largest barrier to its plan’s completion. Thus, any strike or act of aggression by the United States in behalf of the Israeli enemy against Iran is part of the same objective, which is to give the Israeli enemy complete authority over the region. This is something that cannot be disregarded because it entails taking away our country’s freedom, independence, and dignity; enslaving and dehumanising it; erasing its identity; occupying its homelands; stealing its wealth; and establishing the permissibility of blood, honour, land, and sanctities,” Sarea stated.

He referred to the impending confrontation as “the battle of the entire nation,” emphasising that pride, salvation, and victory lie in what he called “the Jihad movement for the sake of Almighty God.” He quoted verses from the Bible, saying: “And fight in the cause of Allah and know that Allah is Hearing and Knowing,” furthermore, “O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet. Allah the Almighty has spoken the truth.”

Sarea also stated that the Yemeni Armed Forces are constantly monitoring all regional activities, including hostile moves against Yemen, and will take “the necessary legitimate measures to defend our dear country and its proud people” in the case of invasion.

He underlined Yemen’s support with other Arab and Islamic states, particularly in light of Palestinian resistance. “Dear Yemen, with its magnificent people, believing leadership, and Mujahid army, will stand by any Arab or Islamic country that is subjected to Zionist aggression or decides to confront it in self-defence, or that supports and assists the Mujahideen in the Palestinian resistance. “We will not abandon our brothers in the Gaza Strip,” Sarea declared.

The warning emphasises the region’s escalating tensions, reflecting Yemen’s long-standing opposition to Israeli and American Middle East policies, and foreshadows potential military action in the Red Sea’s strategic waters if the US intervenes against Iran alongside Israel.
