Registration information
The registration period for the UGC NET December 2025 test will commence on October 7, 2025 and run till November 7, 2025. During this time, candidates must submit their online application using the official NTA UGC NET portal, including authentic personal and academic information. After the registration period ends, a correction window will be accessible from November 10 to November 12, 2025, allowing candidates to make any necessary adjustments or edits to their submitted application forms.
Release of UGC NET admit card.
The admit card for the UGC NET December 2025 exam will be made available on the official NTA website roughly 10 days before the exam begins. Candidates must download the admission card online because hard copies will not be mailed.
The admit card includes the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, shift, and exam center. It also includes critical instructions that applicants must follow on exam day, such as reporting times, allowable objects, and, if appropriate, COVID-19 safety standards.

NTA advises on Aadhaar and UDID details.
According to the agency’s official notification, candidates must ensure that all personal information in their identification documents matches those given on the UGC NET application form. “To streamline the application process for UGC NET December 2025, candidates should verify that their Aadhaar and UDID details are correct and up to date,” according to the announcement.

The NTA further stated that the Aadhaar Card must include the right name, date of birth (according to the Class 10 certificate), an updated photograph, address, and father’s name.
Correction window will be open from November 10 to November 12.
From November 10 to 12, 2025, the NTA will open a rectification window for candidates to make any necessary modifications to their submitted forms. The exam city intimation slip, admit card release date, and entire schedule will be available on the official website later.
