An oil tank farm in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone, a vital center on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates, caught fire after a drone attack early on Tuesday. The facility sustained damage, but no injuries were reported, according to UAE authorities. The attack on Fujairah is especially important because the port is a vital route around the Strait of Hormuz. It is believed that targeting this facility is an attempt to block the UAE’s main alternate export route.
