Washington, DC [US]: US President Donald Trump repeated his stance on cutting trade with Spain on Wednesday, citing the NATO ally’s refusal to allow the use of its military sites for activities related to the war with Iran.

Speaking to reporters, Trump stated that Washington may levy economic sanctions against Madrid due to its stance. “We may cut off trade with Spain,” the US President stated when questioned about bilateral relations.
Pedro Sanchez repeat his opposition to the joint military attacks
Since the battle in West Asia, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has repeated his opposition to the US-Israeli joint military attacks that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, 86, on February 28.
Sanchez has made it clear that his government is strongly opposed to war. “This government is consistent in its principles and values: No to war,” the prime minister stated.
Trump discussed the war with Iran, claiming that US military actions caused enormous damage.Our military is the best. It’s the strongest in the world, and they’re striking them hard. “47 years of abuse, killing and maiming many people,” he stated.
Commenting on marine security issues in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil transit route, Trump expressed optimism that the problem will be resolved.

“I believe you will experience amazing safety. We have annihilated that nation. “They are paying a high price right now,” he remarked.

The US President said that American forces targeted Iran’s naval assets, namely vessels employed for mine-laying operations.”We took out nearly all of their mine ships in one night,” Trump stated.

Previously, in a post on Truth Social, Trump announced that the US has destroyed ten inactive mine-laying ships along the Strait of Hormuz following accusations that Iran had planted mines in the Strait.
“I am pleased to report that within the last few hours, we have hit, and completely destroyed, 10 inactive mine-laying boats and/or ships, with more to follow!” claimed the message.
In a separate speech, Trump referred to a newly planned oil refinery project in Texas, claiming it was a result of his administration’s actions.It would never have happened under a different president. “None of this would have occurred under a different president,” he claimed.
This occurred after Trump said on Tuesday that he would open a new oil refinery in 50 years with the cooperation of Reliance Industries Ltd. of India.
Trump said in a Truth Social post that the new refinery will increase energy output, bolster national security, and fuel American markets.
