Washington, DC [US]: US President Donald Trump denied media allegations that General Daniel Caine warned Washington against going to war with Iran.
Trump stated
In a Truth Social post, Trump stated that the reports are “100 percent incorrect” since they do not attribute “his vast wealth of knowledge.” He stated that, like him, Caine “does not want to see war,” but is certain that it can be “easily won.”
“Numerous tales from the Fake News Media have been circulating claiming that General Daniel Caine, also known as Razin, is opposed to our going to war with Iran. This great abundance of knowledge is not attributed to anyone, and the story is entirely wrong. General Caine, like all of us, prefers not to see war, but if a military choice is made against Iran, he believes it will be easily won,” Trump remarked.
“He has not spoken of not doing Iran, or even the phoney limited strikes that I have been reading about; he only understands one thing: how to WIN, and if commanded to do so, he will lead the charge. “Everything that has been written about a potential war with Iran has been written incorrectly, and on purpose,” he continued.
Trump told Iran that if they did not reach an agreement with the US on the nuclear deal, “it will be a very bad day for that Country and, very sadly, its people.”
“I am the one that makes the decision, I would rather have a Deal than not but, if we don’t make a Deal, it will be a very bad day for that Country and, very sadly, its people, because they are great and wonderful, and something like this should never have happened to them,” he told reporters.

Meanwhile, the US is increasing its military presence in the region, raising concerns about a bigger clash with Iran.
According to Pentagon authorities, hundreds of service members have been moved from Qatar’s Al Udeid facility.
Similar logistical movements have been observed across a network of American installations in Bahrain, home to the Navy’s 5th Fleet, as well as Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.
Government officials are allegedly concerned that the 30,000 to 40,000 US troops now stationed in the region will be the prime target of the Islamic Republic in the event of an all-out conflict.
