Focus on ‘People, Planet, Progress’
The summit is all about three things: people, the planet, and progress. That means putting humans first as we develop AI, ensuring that our technology benefits the environment, and advocating for inclusive growth.
It is consistent with India’s own ideology, “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya,” which emphasises wellbeing and happiness for everybody. The goal is to employ AI to benefit humanity and distribute the benefits globally.
PM Modi is vocal about AI and potential.
PM Modi was interviewed by ANI yesterday, and he was very passionate about AI and its benefits for the youth, particularly in the IT sector. He believes AI has great potential for both opportunities and difficulties. He believes that smart outsourcing and automation, fuelled by AI, can help India’s IT industry reach USD 400 billion by 2030.
He believes that AI will transform everything, pushing businesses to go beyond traditional services and begin developing cutting-edge, AI-driven solutions.
This meeting feels like a watershed moment in Indian AI development. It is stepping up and demonstrating to the world that our country is prepared to take the lead on responsible, inclusive AI and future development.
