Actress Sonal Chauhan Appeals to PM Modi After Being Stuck at Dubai Airport

Several aircraft have been disrupted in the Middle East as tensions between Iran and Israel escalate. Sonal Chauhan, an actor, posted an update indicating that she is trapped in Dubai due to aircraft cancellations.

On Saturday, Jannat actor Sonal Chauhan took to Instagram stories to plead for help, tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanding the Indian government’s assistance in organising her safe return to India.

Sonal posted in her Instagram story: “Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji, I am currently stranded in Dubai due to the ongoing crisis.” Flights have been cancelled, and there is no obvious way back to India. I’m looking for government guidance and assistance to come back home safely (sic).” She continued: “I would be deeply grateful for any assistance from the Government and guidance for a safe return @megindia @india_in_dubai (sic).” Have a peek below:

Sonal Chauhan is one of the people that was left stranded at Dubai International Airport. Star Indian badminton star PV Sindhu is also stranded at the airport. On Sunday, she posted an update regarding her status on her X handle. She writes, “The ordeal continues, and the situation becomes more terrible by the hour. A few hours ago, an explosion occurred near where we were holed up at the airport. My coach had to leave the area quickly because he was closest to the smoke and debris. It was a really tense and frightening situation for all of us.”

She assured everyone of her safety, saying, “We are all safe now and have been transported to a more secure location, due to the relentless efforts of the people at Dubai Airport and the Dubai authorities. A special thank you to the Indian High Commission in Dubai for their outstanding support and ongoing aid in keeping us safe. For the time being, we’re attempting to get some rest and hold out hope as we wait for everything to calm (sic).
