There are three levels at which candidates can apply to become teachers: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) (Level 2) for classes 6–8, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) (Level 3) for classes 9–12, and Primary Teacher (Level 1) for classes 1–5.
