Public holiday calendar 2026 : The Muzaffarpur government schools’ holiday calendar for 2026 has been issued. This year, schools will be closed for 65 days, not including Sundays. The most common holidays will be Diwali and Chhath Puja, each lasting up to ten days. Summer holidays will last 20 days, while winter vacations will last 7 days, during which children will get assignments. The Education Department has issued its yearly holiday calendar for all sorts of schools.
Public holiday calendar 2026: In the coming year, government schools will have 65 holidays, excluding Sundays. The largest number of holidays in 2026 will be Diwali and Chhath Puja, each lasting ten days.
The Secondary Education Department’s calendar shows that there will be six days off for Durga Puja, two for Holi, and one for Rakshabandhan, Ramnavami, and Basant Panchami.
The Education Department has issued the yearly holiday calendar for government, state-run, nationalized, project, upper elementary, secondary, and higher secondary schools (Sanskrit schools, Urdu schools, and madrasas).
Government schools would be closed 75 days, including Sundays. Three or four of these will be holidays during which instructors will be compelled to attend school in honor of birth anniversary dates.
Summer holidays will last 20 days, while winter vacations would be seven days. Throughout the holidays, all children should be assigned homework.
