Mahindra XUV 7XO : Mahindra & Mahindra plans to release the XUV 7XO in India on January 5, 2026. Before the official unveiling, the brand stated that pre-orders for the forthcoming SUV would begin at 12:00 PM on December 15, 2025. Prospective customers can reserve their units through their preferred dealerships and select their vehicle’s fuel type and transmission for a nominal fee of Rs 21,000.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is expected to have the same powertrain and drivetrain options as the XUV 7OO. This features a 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol and a 2.2L mHawk turbo-diesel engine. The petrol version has a maximum power output of 200 HP and a peak torque of 380 Nm, but the diesel variation has a maximum power output of 182 HP and 450 Nm.

Both engine types are available with two transmissions: a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The XUV7OO is mostly available with front-wheel drive, although the diesel version also has an all-wheel-drive option. It is believed that these features will be carried over to the revised version.
Mahindra XUV 7XO Design
In terms of design, that the Mahindra XUV 7XO will have new tail lights and headlamps that are similar to the previously released XEV 9S. However, unlike the electric version, it will have a fully functional radiator grille, which will also be updated to improve its appearance. The front bumper will also most likely be redesigned, as will the lower air dam. The rear end could also get a redesigned bumper design with modified rear fog lamps and a revamped scuff plate.

The current Mahindra XUV7OO has effectively captivated shoppers’ attention with its eye-catching lines and curves. As a result, if the brand keeps some of these aspects, flush-type door knobs, roof rails, and well-crafted sheet metal are likely to continue. Other likely cosmetic alterations include a blacked-out top, revised alloy wheels, and new XUV 7XO emblems.
Inside, the Mahindra XUV 7XO is slated to include a number of enhancements. The SUV will most likely include a triple-screen layout, as seen in the XEV 9E and XEV 9S. A variety of new features are expected to be added to its already extensive list of equipment, such as electric boss mode switches, a panoramic sunroof with lighting effects, rear tray tables, a driver seat with memory functionality, and an updated ADAS suite with parking assistance features.
