While Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has already been murdered in the strikes, Israel has stated that it will continue to target the Islamic Republic. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel’s operation will continue for as long as required, emphasising in his Saturday address that the Iranian leadership has called for “death to Israel and death to America” during the last 47 years.
