Maruti Suzuki’s EV Roadmap
Maruti Suzuki has announced a major initiative to boost India’s EV ecosystem, investing Rs 250 crore to assist e Vitara buyers. The company is trying to create the country’s largest charging infrastructure, with special charging stations already dispersed throughout several locations. By 2030, Maruti hopes to make electric mobility more accessible and convenient through a countrywide charging network.
To supplement this infrastructure, Maruti is launching its new ‘e for me’ app, which aims to make EV ownership easier. Users will be able to easily discover local charging stations, make digital payments, and schedule service appointments through the app. In addition, Maruti has already constructed 1,500 EV-ready service workshops across India, guaranteeing that customers have a smooth and supportive transition to electric vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Battery Specifications
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be available with two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh units. The smaller battery will power a single-motor design that drives the front wheels, whereas the larger pack will support a dual-motor configuration that provides all-wheel drive, dubbed AllGrip-e by Suzuki. This versatility enables buyers to pick between efficiency and performance, with the larger battery model expected to be the most expensive choice in the selection.
Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Range
Maruti Suzuki’s forthcoming e Vitara boasts an outstanding ARAI-certified range of 543 km on a single charge, making long travels much more convenient. The electric SUV can comfortably travel the Delhi-Chandigarh-Delhi route on a single battery. To alleviate range concerns, Maruti has installed 63 charge outlets along this corridor, providing more convenience and confidence to EV users.

The firm recently published the Bharat NCAP crash test results, which show that the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara received a 5-star rating. The e Vitara is based on Suzuki’s all-new Heartect-e platform. It includes level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and seven airbags.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara also includes level 2 ADAS features. The suite comprises the following features: automatic emergency braking, front collision warning (FCW), lane keep assist (LKA), lane departure prevention (LDP), lane departure warning (LDW), vehicle sway warning, adaptive cruise control, adaptive high-beam system, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert.
