Washington, DC [US]: On Saturday, President Donald Trump stated that the US Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted a large “bombing raid” on military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island, saying the operation “totally obliterated” all of the island’s military installations.

He claimed that the strike was one of the most potent bombing raids in the history of the area and that it was executed on his orders in a post on Truth Social.Trump declared, “Just moments ago, the United States Central Command carried out one of the most potent bombing raids in Middle Eastern history and completely destroyed every military target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island.”
He stated that the US intentionally avoided targeting the island’s oil infrastructure.Our weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated the world has ever seen, but for the sake of decency, I have decided not to destroy the island’s oil infrastructure,” he stated.

Trump warned that the decision may change if shipping in the key Strait of Hormuz is affected.However, if Iran or anybody else interferes with the free and safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will promptly reconsider my decision. “During my first term and now, I have rebuilt our military into the most lethal, powerful, and effective force anywhere in the world,” he stated.
The US president stated that Iran would not be able to stop American military strikes.Iran has no power to protect anything that we wish to attack—there is nothing they can do about it!” he declared.

Trump reaffirmed that Iran will not be permitted to get nuclear weapons.Iran will never obtain nuclear weapons, nor will it be able to threaten the United States, the Middle East, or the entire world!”
He also warned Iran’s military and its allies to surrender.
“Iran’s Military, and all others involved with this Terrorist Regime, would be wise to lay down their arms, and save what’s left of their country, which isn’t much!” he stated.
Earlier, the US CENTCOM reported that B-2 stealth bombers had taken off to conduct a mission as part of Operation Epic Fury, with the goal of “eliminating threats” presented by the Iranian “regime” and preventing the Persian Gulf nation from ever restoring its capabilities.
The bombers were launched to provide long-range firepower during the operation, according to CENTCOM.
