IndiGo flight cancellation: IndiGo’s continuous serious issues for the sixth day in a row have entirely interrupted passenger travel. People are upset and irritated as a result of airline cancellations and delays. - Domestic flights that are delayed by more than six hours can be refunded in full or transferred to another aircraft departing within six hours.
- After reviewing your circumstances, proceed to IndiGo’s Refunds page and select the “Cancellation / Refund for Cancelled Flight” option.
- Next, input your PNR, email address, and passenger information, and then submit the request.
How are these refunds processed?
- If you paid for your flight online, your refund will be processed using the same card or payment method, typically within 5-7 business days.
- However, if you paid in cash, you must visit the ticket counter at the airport where you booked. They will handle your refund once you present your flight ticket and a valid ID.
- If you booked your flight through a travel agent or a third-party booking portal (e.g., MakeMyTrip, Yatra), that agency will handle your refund.
The airline has processed refunds thus far.
- According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, IndiGo has issued refunds of ₹610 crore to passengers affected by aircraft cancellations and delays.
