Uday Krishna Reddy has experienced numerous hurdles in his life. When he was five years old, he lost his mother, and not long after, his father died. At that point, it was his grandma who was caring for him. The family was experiencing financial difficulties at the time. His grandma worked as a vegetable seller. She believed that finishing 10th grade was enough for life. However, she never abandoned Uday in need of love or education, and she was always supportive of him as he grew older.

What difficulties did he encounter in his childhood?

Uday had originally planned to be a doctor and had even studied as a medical lab technician, but his family had serious financial difficulties that stopped him from pursuing that path. It would have been easy to give up, but he was determined to improve his family’s circumstances. As a result, he studied concurrently while preparing for a government job, and he was eventually hired as a police constable, marking the beginning of a magnificent career.

While the function of police officer was admirable, it did not earn Uday the respect he merited. Uday worked in the Andhra Pradesh Police from 2013 till 2018. His Circle Inspector (CI) allegedly embarrassed him in front of approximately 60 other policemen. He switched from Telugu to English medium and focused on NCERT texts. His optional topics included Political Science and International Relations. Reddy successfully passed the UPSC exam twice.
