Austria: Israel’s Negev nuclear research site showed no signs of damage, according to a Sunday statement from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The organization stated that it was aware of the Dimona event and that it was monitoring the issue.
The IAEA said in a post to X
“The IAEA is aware of reports of an incident involving a missile impact in the city of Dimona, Israel, and has not received any indication of damage to the nuclear research center Negev,” the IAEA wrote in a post to X. No anomalous radiation levels have been found, according to data from regional states.
Rafael Mariano Grossi, the IAEA’s director general, urged the highest level of military restraint.
“Closely monitoring the case, Director General Rafael Grossi stressed that ‘maximum military restraint should be noticed in particular in the vicinity of nuclear plants.”

Iran claimed to be targeting Dimona, the location of Israel’s main nuclear research facility, in “response” to an earlier attack on the nuclear enrichment plant at Natanz. The Israel Defence Forces denied any role in the attack on Natanz, according to The Times of Israel.
