Galgotias University claimed ownership of the robot, which was constructed in China.

At the peak, the robot was dubbed “Orion”. In one widely distributed video, a woman identified as a university representative detailed the machine’s features during a media encounter, claiming that it was created by the institution’s Center of Excellence.

According to the professor, they failed to express it correctly.

In response to the row, Professor Neha Singh, who delivered the presentation on behalf of Galgotias University at the summit, stated that she accepts full responsibility for the error. Singh claimed that due to her excitement, she did not effectively deliver the information.

“The issue arose because things may not have been stated clearly. I accept responsibility for possibly not communicating it correctly, as it was done with a lot of passion and enthusiasm and very rapidly, so I may not have come across as eloquently as I often do. Additionally, the intent may not have been adequately appreciated. One key aspect about the robot dog: we cannot claim to have created it. I’ve informed everyone that we offered it to our students to encourage them to build something better on their own. Our university contributes to the development of future leaders by delivering cutting-edge AI technology, and this will continue,” she stated.

When asked if the government had asked them to vacate the expo area, Neha Singh stated that she was unaware of the development.
