Dubai News : Drone Goes Down in Al Bada’a District

Dubai News : Authorities in Dubai are investigating a minor incident involving a drone crash in the Al Bada’a neighbourhood. Officials confirmed that there were no injuries reported.

Relevant personnel are handling the situation and evaluating the incident.

Earlier today, police reported that a drone had crashed on a structure near Dubai Creek Harbour, triggering a minor fire that was swiftly extinguished.

According to the Dubai Media Office, Civil Defence teams responded quickly and extinguished the fire, assuring the safety of all inhabitants of the building. Officials confirmed that there were no injuries reported.

According to AFP, loud explosions were heard in Dubai as Iran continued its onslaught across the region in reaction to US-Israeli attacks. According to accounts, little plumes of smoke could be seen above the residential community.

Earlier, Dubai authorities reported that a drone fell on a structure near Dubai Creek Harbour early Thursday (March 12). Following the event, authorities stated that the building was evacuated to guarantee the safety of the residents, and that the fire had been contained.

Iranian missiles and drones are intercepted by UAE air defence systems. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the sounds heard around the nation are the result of interception operations, and UAE air defences stated that they were reacting to incoming missile and drone threats launched from Iran. “UAE air defences are currently reacting to Iranian drone and missile threats.” The UAE Ministry of Defence stated in a post on X that “MOD claims that the sounds heard are the result of the Air Defence Systems intercepting missiles and drones.”

Six ballistic missiles are intercepted by UAE air defence systems: On Wednesday, March 11, the UAE air defence systems intercepted six ballistic missiles, seven cruise missiles, and 39 UAVs that were fired from Iran. UAE air defences have intercepted 268 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1514 UAVs since Iran’s “blatant aggression” began.
