DRDO Paid Internship 2025: The Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE), one of the top laboratories of the Defence R&D Organisation (DRDO), is accepting applications for a six-month paid internship. Students pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in engineering or science in the specified format can apply for the internship opportunity by filling out the form accessible on the DRDO’s official website – drdo.gov.in – and here by December 15.
The internship will begin on January 1, 2026, and students will be notified in the last week of December 2025. The positions are available in Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics, each with a stipend of Rs. 5,000.
DRDO Paid Internship 2025 Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process
Students studying a full-time graduate/postgraduate course in engineering or science from a recognized Indian university or institute are eligible to apply.
Those with more than 75% marks or a GPA of 7.5 are eligible to apply. Subject to acceptable verification of the papers, selection will be made based on the CGPA of all prior semesters/years/percentage of marks, as well as an online/telephonic interview/interaction as required. The age limit is 28.
Students should be aware that payment will be made in two installments: after three months of internship and again after six months. Students will be required to labor a minimum of 15 days per month, and upon completion, they will earn a diploma.
