The US President wrote on Truth Social: “Our Great Tariffs are driving the record stock market and national security.” My prediction for the DOW at the end of my term is 100,000. Keep in mind that Trump was correct about everything. I hope the US Supreme Court is keeping an eye on this.

According to CNN Business, Trump’s remark came after important US stock market indices such as Dow Jones Futures, S&O 500, and Nasdaq received favorable ratings.

The National Security Strategy Document, released in November 2025, stated that economic security is vital to national security, with Washington focusing on balanced trade, trade accords, securing access to critical supply chains and commodities, reindustrialization, and energy dominance.

The statement praised the United States as one of the world’s top financial and capital markets, describing them as “pillars of American influence that policymakers have significant leverage and tools to advance America’s national security priorities.”

Earlier in January, he addressed them during a campaign-style rally in Clive, Iowa, expressing hope that the Supreme Court would eventually rule in his administration’s favor, despite the fact that lower courts had found his vast tariff regime illegal.

In regard to the present legal battle, Trump slammed judge decisions that have halted his tariffs, painting them as pro-China.”I hope we win the Supreme Court case,” Trump said. “You understand that we have people that are China-oriented, people literally that [are] very China-oriented and foreign-country-oriented trying to stop that.”

Trump stated that even if the Supreme Court rules against his tariffs, he will continue to pursue them and find different means to execute them.We will get it done. We’re going to get it done, either way. “If we have to do it differently, we will,” he said.

Trump defended his trade policies, claiming that they generated huge cash for the United States.

His statements came after the US Supreme Court released three opinions on January 20, but did not rule on the keenly watched case challenging the legitimacy of Trump’s worldwide tariff policy.

The court made no indication of when it would take up the dispute again, continuing its practice of not stating which decisions will be delivered on any given day.

The court’s decision to defer a verdict has cast doubt on Trump’s trade plan, even though lower courts have already questioned the legality of the broad measures.
