According to the UKMTO Container Ship Hit Near Ras Al Khaimah

A container ship’s master has reported that the ship has been damaged by an unidentified projectile, according to the UKMTO. The staff is currently conducting an investigation to determine the extent of the damage. Every crew member is safe and accounted for, according to the Master. While police continue to look into the incident, ships are recommended to travel cautiously and notify UKMTO of any suspicious activities, according to the UKMTO.

Earlier on Tuesday , US President Donald Trump released a harsh statement criticising Iran, urging the nation to stop planting mines in the Strait of Hormuz and threatening military action if it does not.

Trump claimed that ten dormant mine-laying ships and boats had been struck and destroyed in another post on Truth Social.

The footage demonstrating diminishing Iran’s maritime power was also shared on X by the US Central Command. “U.S. forces are weakening the Iranian regime’s capacity to project power at sea and harass international shipping,” it stated.
