SSC MTS Exam Date 2025: According to the official notice, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the MTS and Havaldar Recruitment examination admit cards soon, and applicants can expect the examinations to begin after the fourth week of October, 2025. The examinations were slated to take place between September 20 and October 24, 2025, however due to the delay in admit card issuance, the commission is expected to issue a new examination schedule.
According to the recent SSC notification, the tier-1 phase of the CHSL examination will begin in the fourth week of October and will be followed by other exams such as MTS and JE.
“The Tier 1 of CHSL exams will begin in the fourth week of October 2025, followed by the SI CPO 2025, JE, and MTS tests. The particular dates for these exams will be announced shortly,” the letter stated.
Once the admission card and exam dates are announced, candidates will be able to verify and download them from the commission’s official website, ssc.gov.in.
The SSC MTS and Havaldar recruitment aims to fill a total of 8,021 jobs, with 6,810 for MTS and 1,211 for Havaldar.

SSC MTS Exam Date 2025 : Selection Process
The selection process for the positions includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Havaldar. The CBT exam assesses the candidate’s skills in Math and Reasoning (Session 1) and General Knowledge and English (Session 2) (negative marking applies).
The merit list will be created based on the session two examination results.
To be eligible for the position, male candidates selected for the PET examination must be 157.5 cm tall, weigh 48 kg, and be able to run 600m in 15 minutes. Women applicants’ height should be 152 cm, with a running capacity of 1 km in 20 minutes.

- Proceed to the Admit Card section.
- Click the link for SSC MTS / Havaldar Admit Card 2025.
- Enter your registration number, date of birth, or password.
- Download and print the admission card.
- The admit card will include information such as the exam date and shift times, exam city and center location, roll number, and candidate portrait.

SSC MTS 2025 CBT Language:
The SSC MTS computer-based exam will be administered in “English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages” for the first time, and candidates must select their preferred language when filling out their application form.

SSC MTS Havaldar 2025 Selection Procedure
The eligible applicants for SSC Multi Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted in three stages. A candidate must pass each stage with a higher score than the declared cut-off. The three phases to be cleared are as follows:

Stage 1: Paper 1 (Computer-based Examination)
Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar)
