UAE Weather: Temperatures Expected to Reach 47°C Under Clear Skies

UAE  Weather : The United Arab Emirates is bracing for another bout of extreme summer heat, with temperatures anticipated to reach nearly 47°C in certain inland areas. While the weather is likely to remain mostly clear and stable across the country, the extreme temperatures are expected to challenge residents, especially those working outdoors.

According to the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), weather conditions will remain generally pleasant in the next days. However, intense sunlight and rising temperatures will continue to dominate much of the country, signalling the start of peak summer weather. The inland regions are expected to suffer the highest temperatures, while coastal cities may see slightly lower values due to maritime influences.

Extreme Heat and UAE Summer Weather Continue Across the Country

Meteorologists said daytime temperatures in inland locations could range between 43°C and 47°C, while coastal and island areas are expected to record temperatures between 36°C and 41°C. Mountainous regions are likely to remain comparatively cooler, though still warm for this time of year.

Weather experts warned that mild to moderate winds could occasionally turn stronger, resulting in dusty conditions in some parts of the UAE. When winds blow up, particularly in the afternoon, visibility in open desert areas may decrease. Authorities have cautioned motorists to be cautious if dust reduces road visibility.

Despite the high temperatures, no major precipitation is forecast. The country is still under the grip of stable atmospheric conditions that favor dry and sunny weather. Humidity levels may climb at night and in the early morning, particularly along northern coasts, making circumstances feel warmer than they are.

Residents Urged to Stay Safe During UAE Summer Weather

Officials continue to urge households to take precautions against heat-related ailments. People are advised to stay hydrated, limit direct exposure to the sun during peak afternoon hours, and wear light clothing whenever possible.

The weather prediction also emphasizes the shifting marine conditions. Waters in the Arabian Gulf may get turbulent at times due to higher winds, but conditions in the Oman Sea are forecast to be quite calm. Fishermen and recreational boaters are encouraged to stay up to date on weather conditions before venturing out to sea.

The latest forecast comes as the UAE enters one of the hottest periods of the year. Across the country, June is known for its high temperatures, dry air, and long days of sunshine. According to experts, such conditions are normal for the season, but extended exposure to high heat might pose health hazards to vulnerable individuals.

As the summer progresses, inhabitants can expect scorching afternoons, warm nights, and occasional dusty spells. While pleasant weather may encourage outdoor activities in the early morning and evening, authorities advise taking extra precautions during the warmest portions of the day to avoid heat stress and dehydration.
