UAE Student App : A 12-year-old student in the UAE has developed a mobile application to help classmates remain calm during difficult moments, transforming anxiety and uncertainty into a good endeavor for Abu Dhabi’s young students.
Nakshatra Prem, a Grade 7 student at Abu Dhabi Indian School, created an app called “Al Amal – The Hope” when many students grew concerned after hearing emergency alarms around the region. While the warnings provoked alarm in children, the young pupil chose to use technology to help her friends emotionally.
Nakshatra, who was born and raised in the UAE, stated that she has always felt comfortable there. However, hearing emergency notifications for the first time made her nervous and confused. She then realized that numerous students around her were suffering the same level of worry.
The young developer added that she wanted to create something useful to help kids feel more at ease during challenging times. She also wanted to put her computer talents to good use, benefiting the society.
How UAE Student App Helps Children Stay Calm During Crisis
Nakshatra began working on the project on March 7 and finished the initial version of the app in just eight days. The software is her second technology endeavor, following her previous platform dubbed “Star Tech Kidz,” which allowed children to showcase their talents and creative abilities.
The new software focuses on pupils’ mental well-being and safety awareness. It offers relaxing tips for stressful times and emergency contact information that users can instantly access if necessary.
Along with practical assistance, the application sends out encouraging messages targeted at lowering anxiety and panic among young users. Personal safety notes are provided to assist pupils feel more confident and less intimidated in uncertain situations.
The app’s logo also conveys a profound message. It depicts a heart in soft, soothing colors alongside a child-like figure representing safety, care, and emotional support.
Nakshatra stated that the app’s main purpose is simple: to help pupils understand that they are not alone during hard moments.
Positive Response To UAE Student App Brings Hope To Classmates
After finishing the project, Nakshatra shared the application with her classmates and solicited comments. According to her, many classmates reported that the app made them feel more comfortable and relaxed, especially when emergency notifications came.
Students allegedly loved the platform’s straightforward design and soothing remarks. Some users also found the emergency information part valuable, as it provided immediate guidance in stressful situations.
The little pupil expressed her hope that other children will utilize the app and avoid unnecessary dread or stress. Her efforts have also demonstrated how young brains can use technology to have a beneficial societal impact.
