A truce has been declared ahead of Orthodox Easter by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, Vladimir Putin, from 4:00 p.m. on April 11 until the end of April 12, 2026,” the announcement said.

“Russian troops must be prepared to repel any potential provocation by the enemy, as well as any aggressive acts on its part. We operate on the assumption that Ukraine would follow Russia’s lead,” the Ministry stated in a statement.
