Deepak Chahar Admits MI Fell Short Against DC : Mumbai Indians pacer Deepak Chahar stated that the Mumbai Indians (MI) fell 10-15 runs short of the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the two teams’ second Indian Premier League (IPL) match of the season. He said that defending a score of 160 in a daylight game was difficult without frequent wickets, and Sameer Rizvi’s good innings was the difference, stating that the game may have been closer if they had dismissed him early.

Chahar stated after the match that the pitch conditions played a significant effect. He noted that there was a little dampness on the surface, making batting tough early on. According to him, the toss became really significant, and Mumbai was unable to take full advantage of the situation.
