(Dubai) CBSE UAE : Despite the cancellation of numerous Board examinations due to the continuing US-Israel-Iran war, India’s Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on Wednesday a specific assessment scheme for declaring Class 10 results in Middle Eastern countries.
The Board cancelled the Class 10 main examinations on March 5, 2026, following a thorough analysis of the situation in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
Examinations scheduled between February 17 and February 28, 2026, were completed satisfactorily. During this time, students completed 44 papers in total: six academic topics (Mathematics, English, and Science), 16 language papers, and 22 skill-building subjects.
The Board has now established a clear, category-specific formula for calculating scores based on how many tests each student managed to take.

Students who took all examinations will have their scores determined based on their real performance.
Those who took four exams will have their missing subject marks calculated using the average of their top three subjects from those previously taken.
Students who took only three exams will have their remaining subjects graded based on the average of their top two performing topics.
For the limited number of students who took only two exams, the scores will be calculated using the average of those two topics for all remaining papers.
Older registrations
Students who registered for up to two topics before 2025 are subject to a special rule.
If they took one or two of their registered exams, the results will be determined based on their actual performance.
If any examination is incomplete, they will be granted the option to take the second board test.
Other key details
Students from these nations who moved their exam center to another country will have their results announced based on their actual performance at that location.
