Dubai [UAE] Us travel advisory : In an updated travel advisory issued on Monday, the United States International Travel Department stated that it is closely monitoring the situation in West Asia and advised American citizens in the region that commercial travel options remain available, though sudden flight cancellations may occur.
Government issued a Us travel advisory
The government issued a travel advise to US citizens, stating that seats on commercial flights from Abu Dhabi and Dubai are currently available for travel to several destinations in the United States and Europe.
It also stated that the UAE’s land borders with Saudi Arabia and Oman remain open.
“Seats on commercial flights from Abu Dhabi and Dubai are presently available for travel to a variety of U.S. and European cities, however some flights may be cancelled at short notice. Borders with Oman and Saudi Arabia have reopened, and commercial flights from those nations are now operational, according to the advice.
However, the advice cautioned visitors that commercial airline itineraries often alter on short notice. “Some flights may be cancelled with little notice,” the advice warned, urging travellers to be prepared for unexpected interruptions.”We are closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and will keep you updated so you can make informed decisions about your safety,” the advice added.

The advice also stated that “Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and the Department of State place no higher priority on the safety and security of American citizens.”
Previously, the US Embassy in Riyadh amended its “options to depart” section, urging American citizens in Saudi Arabia to leave the country on commercial planes if it is safe.

According to the embassy, Saudi airspace remains accessible, albeit aviation traffic is frequently restricted because to ongoing missile and drone threats.
Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam airports continue to operate. However, due to the possibility of delays or cancellations, travellers are recommended to verify their flight status directly with airlines.
The embassy also ordered that all US government employees in Saudi Arabia shelter in place. “To the extent possible, remain in your residence or another structure, and stay away from windows,” added the cautionary note.
It further stated that people who choose not to travel by commercial airline should be prepared to shelter in place in a safe area with enough supplies of food, water, medicine, and other necessities.
According to the advice, on March 8, the State Department ordered the withdrawal of non-emergency US government employees from Saudi Arabia in response to ongoing missile and drone threats against American and diplomatic interests in the Kingdom.
Earlier in the day, flights at Dubai International Airport were temporarily suspended due to a drone-related incident near the airport, according to authorities.
Officials later reported that the fire had been extinguished.
Tensions over the ongoing battle between the US, Israel, and Iran continue to influence the entire area.
