Washington, DC [US]: On Thursday , President Donald Trump declared that the Iranian situation was developing “very rapidly” and commended the power of the US military.

US president Donald Trump stated

During a Women’s History Month event at the White House, the US president stated that American soldiers are functioning well and that current efforts address long-standing issues with Iran. The situation with Iran is rapidly deteriorating. It is doing really nicely. Our military is unrivalled. Nothing like it has ever existed before. “No one has ever seen anything like it,” Trump claimed.

He noted that the United States was finally taking things that should have been taken decades ago.

“We’re doing what has to be done and should have been done for 47 years. It might have been done by many different people. They decided not to do it. But they really are a nation of terror and hatred, and they’re paying a tremendous price right now,” Trump added, slamming Iranian leadership and claiming that the country was “paying a big price right now.”

Trump praised his administration’s efforts to rebuild the US military, stating that it now has stronger capabilities. We had a very successful first term with the best economy ever. We accomplished a lot of excellent things. We rebuilt the military. That’s one of the reasons our military is performing so well right now,” he explained.

Previously, US President Donald Trump highlighted his administration’s principal goals in the ongoing battle with Iran, diverting attention away from the economic consequences of rising oil prices and toward long-term global security.

In a White House post, President Trump stated that, while the United States is currently the world’s leading oil producer and stands to benefit financially from higher crude prices, his administration’s overarching mission remains the permanent dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program.

Trump stated, “The United States is the world’s top oil producer by far, so when oil prices rise, we profit handsomely. BUT, of far greater interest and importance to me as President, is preventing an evil Empire, Iran, from acquiring nuclear weapons and ruining the Middle East and, indeed, the world.”

The declaration comes amid escalating tensions in West Asia following combined US-Israeli military operations that resulted in the death of Iran’s former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on February 28. In retaliation, Iran targeted Israeli and US assets in many Gulf countries, disrupting major shipping lanes and damaging global energy markets.
