Donald Trump Calls Iran Strikes an ‘Excursion’ Meant to Prevent a Larger War

Ohio [US]: President Donald Trump called the current US military action against Iran on Wednesday as an excursion to keep his country out of war, meaning that the strikes were meant to prevent a larger battle.

During a visit to the Thermo Fisher Scientific facility in Cincinnati, President Trump stated that the operation aims to neutralise Iran’s missile and drone capabilities. The answer is both. He went on to say, “We’ve knocked out their navy and air force. We removed 60 mine boats and 59 mine boats. No one has ever seen anything like it. We have the best military in the world, by far, and not even close. They’ve done 47 years of devastation to the globe.”
