Poco is preparing to release the X8 Pro series worldwide shortly. Both the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max have recently appeared on the UAE’s TDRA certification portal, indicating that they have cleared a major regulatory obstacle and that the formal launch is imminent.
The database has model numbers 2511FPC34G and 2602BPC18G, which should correspond to the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. The listing doesn’t provide any specifications, but when phones appear here, they’re usually close to being ready for public release.
Probably rebranded Redmi models
These new Pocos are most likely rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro Max, which were previously released in China. Poco has done this before, giving Redmi phones a new appearance and launching them abroad.
Design and build (expected)
According to leaked renders, the Poco X8 Pro may have the following features:
- Matte, flat rear panel.
- Slightly curled edges.
- Vertical pill-shaped camera module
- Dual camera rings.
- Flat display with minimal bezels.
- Center-aligned hole-punch cutout
- Colour possibilities

The device will be offered in three colour options: black, white, and turquoise.
The power button’s orange colour is regarded to be a fascinating touch, and it, along with the volume rocker, are located on the right side. The X8 Pro Max maintains this appearance, but with chunkier camera rings, implying improved camera hardware.
Poco X8 Pro: Expected specs
The next Poco X8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED screen, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and brightness of up to 2,000 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor.
It will have a 50MP Sony IMX882 main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 20MP front camera for selfies. The handset will also be powered by a 6,500mAh battery, which will be able to charge at 100W fast or 27W reverse.
Poco X8 Pro Max: Larger display and battery
The X8 Pro Max features a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display and a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. It features a 50MP Light Hunter 600 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide and 20MP selfie camera, and—get this—a whopping 8,500mAh battery with rapid charging.
Now that TDRA certification has been completed, the Poco X8 Pro series is almost ready for the global stage. If the rumours are correct, Poco is targeting this lineup at people who want real performance, large batteries, and fast charging—all in the upper mid-range.
