UP Police Constable Exam Date 2026: An important update for those preparing for the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Exam. The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the written exam dates for the 2025 direct recruitment of Constable Civil Police and other equal positions. According to a notice published by the board on February 3, the exam will take place in June. This recruitment procedure will fill a total of 32,679 Constable and Jail Warder vacancies in the Uttar Pradesh Police.
The notification reads, “This information is offered for the benefit of candidates. All candidates are encouraged to check the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board’s Lucknow website, http://uppbpb.gov.in, on a frequent basis for more information and instructions.”
Dates for the UP Constable Recruitment Exam
According to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, the written exam would last three days. The board has said that the exam will be given in two shifts per day. The proposed exam dates are shown below:

Selection Process for UP Police Constables
The UP Police Constable recruiting procedure is divided into two stages: a written exam and a physical test. A medical examination is also performed as part of the physical test. Candidates’ credentials are also verified.
Exam Pattern for Constable Recruitment.
The UP Constable Recruitment written test will be 300 marks long and will include questions about General Hindi, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Mental Aptitude, Intelligence Quotient, and Reasoning Ability. The exam contains 150 questions. The paper is almost two hours lengthy. All queries will be objective.
