According to the company, users will no longer receive a Perplexity Pro AI membership when they recharge. However, Airtel stated at the time of debut that this offer was not a long-term free benefit and would only be accessible for a limited period.

What exactly did the Perplexity Pro offer?

Last year, Airtel began offering a Perplexity Pro subscription with its recharge rates as a temporary bonus. It cost ₹17,000 but was free for Airtel members. Initially, Airtel emphasized that the deal was only good until January 16, 2026. After the promotional period expired, Airtel discontinued the offer from its prepaid plans.

Will this offer have an impact on the users who claimed it?

Users who claimed the offer before January 16 will be unaffected by its termination. They will be able to continue enjoying the service as previously. Their subscription will be good for a year from the moment the deal is activated. Users who recharged after January 16 will not be eligible for this benefit, however.

With an annual subscription price of around ₹4,000, users can utilize Adobe’s generative AI capabilities and other benefits for free.
