Kohrra Season 2 Trailer Released : The mist returns to Punjab, this time settling on Dalerpura. Kohrra, Netflix’s critically acclaimed investigative crime thriller, is slated to return with a second season starring Barun Sobti and Mona Singh. The recently released teaser foreshadows a darker, more emotionally nuanced chapter in the plot.

The murder of a woman, played by Pooja Bhamrrah, lies at the core of the new season, with her body discovered in her brother’s barn, entangling an entire village in a web of suspicion and hidden secrets.

Kohrra Season 2 sees the return of Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi, played by Barun Sobti, but in unfamiliar terrain. Garundi has left Jagrana and is starting over with a new commanding officer, Sub-Inspector Dhanwant Kaur (Mona Singh).

As the two cops delve deeper into the case, their inquiry reveals not only the town’s secrets, but also their own personal vulnerabilities. As the official proceedings develop, the list of suspects rises rapidly, including the victim’s own husband, played by Rannvijay Singha, while her brother, played by Anurag Arora, gets drawn deeper into the investigation. The teaser establishes the tone for the season, promising a disturbing but compelling story.

Barun Sobti, who reprises his role as Amarpal Garundi, said, “Garundi begins this season expecting to start again, but in a world like Kohrra, the past never really leaves. This time, the enigma is denser and more difficult, and Garundi’s path reflects this. He’s more introverted, reserved, and continually arguing his own decisions. Season 2 pushed me as an actor in new directions, and I’m anxious for audiences to return to this universe and see how the story progresses.”

Mona Singh, who will play Dhanwant Kaur, stated, “Entering the universe of Kohrra was both fascinating and terrifying because of how meticulously it is written. Dhanwant is a woman with few words but great commitment. She’s dealing with grief, responsibilities, and the incessant need to prove herself – frequently without saying anything at all. It was a role that required restraint, and I am grateful to Sudip sir and the team for entrusting me with it. Kohrra 2 release date, cast, and crew

The second season of Kohrra will be available on Netflix on February 11. The series is produced by A Film Squad Production in partnership with Act Three, with producers Saurabh Malhotra, Sudip Sharma, Manuj Mittra, and Tina Tharwani. Sudip Sharma and Faisal Rahman are in charge of directing the series, which was produced and written by Gunjit Chopra, Diggi Sisodia, and Sudip Sharma.
