Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, is becoming a box office success. Fans eagerly awaited the debut of this multi-starrer picture on January 23. The film is doing well in the box office and has garnered many excellent reviews.
This film is a sequel to Sunny Deol’s 1997 smash Border, which was directed by JP Dutta. Anurag Singh has directed Border 2. Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty are also in the film.
Border 2’s second day collecting
Border 2 had a fantastic opening day at the box office, grossing Rs 3o crore. The film made Rs 36.7 crore on its second day of release. The total collected for the film now stands at 66.7 crore rupees. In addition, the film’s global success has been tremendous. In two days, the film garnered Rs 41 crore in overseas revenue. Border 2 has now earned more than Rs 100 crore globally in just two days.
Cast and characters from Border 2
Varun Dhawan plays Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, who has received the Param Vir Chakra. Diljit Dosanjh portrays Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the sole Indian Air Force officer to receive the Param Vir Chakra. Sunny Deol plays Lieutenant Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler, who is based on Major General Hardev Singh Kaler. Lieutenant Commander MS Rawat, represented by Ahan Shetty, shows the Indian Navy’s role in the war.

Plot of Border 2
Although the events of the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war served as the basis for the 1997 film Border, the tale of Border 2 is also set against the backdrop of the same fight.
JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, and Bhushan Kumar are the film’s producers. A group led by Mithoon, Anu Malik, Vishal Mishra, Sachet-Parampara, and Gurmoh composed the film’s music, with John Stewart Eduri providing the background score.
