Yamaha Motor India has announced a Rs 5,000 price drop on all R15 models for the 2026 model year as part of their 70th Anniversary effort. With this modification, the R15 supersport range now starts at Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom) for the R15 S, which is effectively the previous generation R15 V3.0. The current R15 V4 begins at Rs 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec R15 M costs Rs 1.81 lakh (ex-showroom). The decision makes Yamaha’s successful R15 series more accessible, increasing its appeal to Indian riders.

Aside from the updated MSRP, Yamaha’s R15 supersport motorcycle remains unchanged under the 70th Anniversary Special Price plan. The model retains the same features, equipment, colors, and versions as previously, with no changes beyond the Rs 5,000 price drop.

The Yamaha R15 is powered by a 155 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 18 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. This machine is equipped with a six-speed transmission. The bike also features a quickshifter and traction control.
