US President Donald Trump threatened Iran on Tuesday with new strikes if it attempted to rebuild its ballistic missiles or restarted its nuclear program. Addressing a press conference in Florida alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump stated that the US was closely monitoring developments in Tehran.
Donald Trump say
“I don’t like to say that, but Iran may have been acting inappropriately. It hasn’t been proven yet, but if it is, they understand the repercussions. The implications will be significant, possibly more so than the last time… Iran should have made a deal last time; I had given them a choice,” Trump stated.
“I hear Iran is trying to rebuild, and if they do, we’ll have to knock them down. We’ll knock them down. “We’ll knock the hell out of them,” Trump declared.
When asked if the US would back an Israeli strike on Iran if Tehran attempted to strengthen its ballistic missile or nuclear programs, Trump said he would “immediately” declare support for Jerusalem in such a case.
“If they continue to use missiles, certainly. The nuke? The answer will be: Yes, totally. The other is: We’ll do it right away,” the US President stated.
Earlier this year, the United States claimed to have destroyed Iran’s three primary nuclear sites with airstrikes carried out by B2 bombers, an operation that Donald Trump has frequently praised as a decisive victory.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that Tehran is regaining momentum, particularly by increasing its ballistic missile program.

Israel-Hamas ceasefire
The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, fiercely backed by Trump, has generally held, though momentum has faded in recent weeks. Each side alleges the other has violated the deal, while the United States, Israel, and Arab states disagree on how to proceed.
