To celebrate the New Year, the state-owned telecom company BSNL has introduced a new prepaid recharge package for its subscribers. The newly launched package includes 3GB of daily data and unlimited free voice calls for just Rs 8 per day, making it one of the most cheap annual plans in India.

BSNL India announced the new offer via its official X (previously Twitter) account. The plan, priced at Rs 2,799, is intended for those who want long-term connectivity. Key benefits include:
- Validity is 365 days.
- Calling: Make unlimited voice calls in India, including free national roaming.
- Data allowance: 3GB of high-speed data each day.
- SMS: 100 free SMS each day.

BSNL also offers an annual package for Rs 2,399 that includes unlimited calling for a full year. Recently, they announced a new plan for Rs 2,799 that provides even more perks, particularly if you want a lot of internet bandwidth. For just Rs 400 more, this plan provides an additional 1GB of data every day, totaling 365GB per year.This means you’ll just pay around Rs 1.10 for each additional gigabyte of data. So, if you rely substantially on data, the new plan might be a good fit.

Special New Year Bonus Offers
In addition to the new launch, BSNL has given festive data bonuses for existing subscribers.
- Rs 2,399 Plan Bonus: From December 15 to January 31, 2026, consumers who recharge with this plan will receive 2.5GB per day (up from 2GB).
- Daily data top-ups: BSNL is also offering an additional 0.5GB of data per day on its popular Rs 225, Rs 347, and Rs 485 plans, giving short-term users greater value throughout the holiday season.
BSNL Christmas Bonanza Offer
BSNL has also announced a special “Christmas Bonanza” promotion. For only Rs 1, new clients can get 30 days of mobile service. This deal includes a free SIM card, unlimited calls to any number, 100 text messages per day, and 2GB of internet data. This offer is valid only until December 31, 2025.
